Facebook can be quite addictive but so is sugar, sex, drugs, etc. Like all indulgences, it is up to the individual to control their impulses. On a lighter note, my latest fictional book,” Facebook Addiction: The Life & Times of Social Networking Addicts”, will be available 12.01.09. We will even host the book release party on Facebook –

The things that you can do with Facebook Pages and FBML are amazing!!

My facebook addiction runs in a slightly different manner. Instead of checking my facebook a couple of thousand times a day, I find myself on my ‘homepage’, clicking the refresh button, waiting for a new notification.

- You are late for meetings because you are on Facebook
- You think about it when you are offline
- Your friends and family comment on your excessive internet use
- You check your accounts from your Blackberry/HTC/IPHONE
