Lebanon politics really sucks , evrything is messed up .
No work , no money , poverty at high % , assassinations every few week’s , Israel’s Lebanon War …. the list is very long , why would we (me and other lebanese foreigners) return to live in Lebanon ? … family… friends … then what ?
Just stay and enjoy Living In Canada

Lebanon has a unique form of parliamentary democracy in which the highest offices are reserved for certain ethnic groups.
The constitution grants the people the right to change their government. However, from the mid-1970s until the parliamentary elections in 1992, civil war precluded the exercise of political rights.
According to the constitution, direct elections must be held for the parliament every 4 years.
The last parliament election was in 2000. The Parliament, in turn, elects a President every 6 years to a single term. The President is not eligible for re-election. The last presidential election was in 1998. The president and parliament choose the Prime Minister. Political parties may be formed; most are based on sectarian interests.

Alors, ton site est très intéressant. Je crois qu’il y a bcp de belles choses que tu pourrais faire au Liban. Je trouve que c’est un des plus beaux pays que j’ai vu de ma vie. J’y suis allé pour faire de la musique en sept. 2001! J’ai fait le tour: Tripoli, beirut, Nabatieh, Jounieh. Bref, je crois que si la jeunesse de ce pays perd espoir et ne retourne pas pour continuer à insuffler un vent de tolérance, et bien les choses n’avancerons pas. Beaucoup de gens de mon âge y croient (La trentaine…)et y sont retournés après avoir étudié en France ou au Canada. Ça a marché un peu quoi… Je comprends ton sentiment par contre. Bref, en t k, je t’écris pour te remercier de nous avoir tant stressé, Lina et moi, avec le tp3 du cour 1146. Finalement, ça m’a fait étudier et travailler 2 fois plus. (Comme ça j’aurai certainement une meilleur note qu’à l’intra…)Mais tes techniques pédagogiques sont à travailler quand même un peu…:-) Tu as encore le temps! Voilà, je te laisse et te souhaite un beau voyage chez nos voisins les yankees. À bientôt,
